The wild salmon caught in the Copper River arrive at Copper River Seafoods Smoke House within 24 to 36 hours. To get the best recovery possible, the salmon are filleted by hand, then cut into strips or left as a fillet. The salmon is then cured in their traditional curing brine to give it the delicious taste that makes them so distinctively delicious. The cured salmon is then smoked to perfection with natural alder wood. Amazing in an egg scramble, flaked into a seafood chowder, or on pasta. Create smoked salmon spread using your own recipe, or just place some onto crackers or bagels with cream cheese and thinly sliced red onion.
